Off we went to Jiu Fen

The name of this place, Jiu Fen (9 sets), has a very interesting history behind it. The story goes... there were 9 families staying at this hilly area and whenever one representative of these 9 families went out to buy groceries, he or she will buy 9 sets, 1 set for each family, thus, the name Jiu Fen was used forever......

On the way to Jiu Fen, we passed the Xue Shan Tunnel, which runs 13km and is the world's third longest highway that cuts through mountains. Co-incidentally, when we passed by that day, it was the first day of operation for the tunnel!

Look at these! Doesn't look too good in the photo though but there are Abalone Mushroom! The taste was fantastic, don't know what sauce they put to grill it, but I know I hope we have this in Singapore!

These watches were in the "Zhua Wa Wa" machine, one of many wa wa ji I saw in Taiwan! Their things to catch are more exciting than ours!
