You'll Never Suffer Alone

My weekend flies...

Weekend just flew pass like that! Arrggh... Not enough rest man. These days have been very busy unpacking all the stuffs in the new house. Sometimes I tell myself not to unpack anymore, just sit down, relax and watch tv but in the end always end up doing something. Like last night, I pasted the hanger on the wall and hanged the clock on it, in the end, "Biii-aang"! The clock was shuttered into pieces as the hanger wasn't strong enough to hold the clock! Arrgghhh.... in the end my sis has to sweep the floor for me and I had to vacuum the floor just to make sure...

Went to Sim Lim to get the cable for my Videocam but was so fed up when both the desktop and laptop can't recognize my videocam! Arrgghhh... I think it's time to get my own videocam, btw this videocam that i'm using was actually purchased by my sis's ex-bf. You know, even my PS2 is his! Just that he always seems to give up things as soon as he has bought them. Honestly, not many things are bought by me, hmm...maybe only my costly "pro" digital camera.

Was at the Sim Lim area and there was a lot of buskers around. Took videos of them and thought I can show you all here but for the stupid fire cable which doesn't allow my pc to recognize my videocam...Perhaps just to describe what i saw yesterday. There's this old man who claimed to have some kind of power from some deity or master. He is able to bring dead fishes and tortoise back to life! Wow, he thinks he is God lah. He threw 4 gold fishes hardly onto the floor till they fainted (or died as he claimed...) and told the crowd that he can bring them to life. Oh well, I left before he achieved his feat as he talked so much crap till I was starting to think he was bragging about his power. He even mentioned that he can read a person's life lah, can tell which year you are born in lah, how much money you have in your wallet lah... and said we must make appointment and pay a fee for him to read our lives because there are a lot of customers. Next time, I will carry 1cents in my pocket and ask him how many 1cents I have! Idiot leh...I think I will send the video of him slamming the gold fishes on the floor to SPCA! Cruelty to animals!!! And also I think what he performed is scorcery, you know, like magic powers that Harry Potter possesses. Scary...

Went to Ikea to get some furniture and fittings, realised Singaporeans do like to D.I.Y but then again, I think it's also because you can get things cheaply and simple at IKEA, that's why their business is so good.

It's Monday again...Arrgghhh... so tired of work. YAWN!

Hello 2008!

Hi, i have finally decided to resume blogging!

Bye 2008's Jan, and soon bye Feb of 2008...time flies really! This year started well for me as I was happy with the amount of work that was given to me. I got more opportunity to fulfill my potential and show others what I can do. But maybe I was stressing myself too hard in Jan that by the time Feb came, I was struck down by a bout of viruses which caused me to have viral fever, flu, cough, shivers for more than a month! I'm still coughing a lot as I am writing this. I guess I got this virus from my colleague who sits besides me. She had viral fever for a few weeks too, then it was my turn. After I got the virus, another colleague also fell sick. Terrible man!

For those ex-pupils of mine, I want to let you know that I'm teaching P4 and 6 CL, P6 Art and P4 PE! Yes, PE, can you believe it? 3 subjects for this year! It came to me as a shock but this is ultimately the school's decision which I have no say in it. But still, I am enjoying it as it gives me a good chance to exercise and sweat. By the way, I have been playing badminton once a week at Clementi Sports Hall or some other Sports Hall in Singapore to keep fit. To be able to teach PE really gives me the opportunity to do more sports to keep fit.

This year's Pri 6 is a class which I am quite worried about. This batch of pupils merely scrapped through their CL SA2 last year and they need to put in extra effort if they want to do well for their PSLE. I hope they can talk less in class and pay more attention. I will do my very best to make sure they do well and I have even promised them that I will give them a present that can cost up to $500 if anyone score an A for their PSLE, Prelim or SA1! Haha... I'm rich right? Not really, but I really hope this incentive can motivate them to do well.

Jay Chou Concert

In Jan, I went to Jay Chou concert. This is my first time watching Jay Chou "live" in action so it was with a big expectation that I went to witness his performance. I enjoyed all his songs but I must admit that he doesn't have a nice vocal. No doubt his songs are nice, catchy and he can rapped well. He changed so many costume during the concert till I thought it was too much of a distraction. Every time he finishes 1 song, he will return to the backstage to change. This took the momentum out of the whole performance. But still, I enjoy singing along to his songs.

Here's one of my favourite song of his...
