Once again, our own country has dealt our own national football team a fatal blow by making this decision : The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) ruled that the Lions do not deserve to make the trip to Doha for this December's Asian Games.
Best of it all, my most hated politician is the president of SNOC. That Bast***! As the Lions are not in the top six in Asia football, they were not given the chance to take part in the Asian Games. Now, our national football risk losing one of our brightest coach for a long time, Raddy Avramovic, who said in a earlier interview that he would end his association with Singapore if the Lions were not allowed the chance to participate at the Asian Games.
I think the people who rule the country are just a bunch of "scared to lose morons"! They obviously has looked down on the national football team and think the team will shamed the nation. Damnit! If we are not given a chance to perform on the big stage, how are we going to make the leap from Asean Champion to Asian Champion, to a World Cup team?!
It's a sad day for Singapore football. It's even sadder to know those who has always look down on their own nation's football team will tell you "See, I told you! Our football team can't make it lah!"
