Today i went to watch "Click" with Cindy & Alvin, hoping to have a good laugh at another of those Adam Sandler's kind of show. In the end, yes, i had a good laugh, but on the other hand, I teared during one part of the show when Adam Sandler realised he didn't devote enough time to his family. His son told him " We are borned, then lived and die." Everyone has to go through this journey. Makes me really scared and wonder, why am I here on Earth if I am here, only to die and and leave this place forever. What's my purpose here? To born, live and eventually die? Maybe I'll rather not be borned! Everytime I think of death, I'm scared. I scared of the days when I'm old and nearing death even though I'm a Catholic (who should know that when we died, we will meet Christ) I am scared of the day when my love ones leave me. You see, I was supposed to have a good laugh watching the show, but in the end, it managed to put so much senses into my brain. We should cherish people around us now and not be distracted by our work, who took away more than half of our lives here on earth. We are always impatience, always wanting to achieve our goals quickly. We forget to slow down, to look at the beautiful places surrounding us, and most importantly, to love the lovely family members and friends we have, to appreciate the little things in life, before they are all gone in a flash...
Everyday(esp. weekdays, we wish the weekends are here asap! But have we realised that with each passing day, we are nearer to death. We always wish the holidays are here, but it also passes us quickly without us noticing it. Why can't we live each day to it's fullest?! I put this blame on our job. If only we can do anything that we like everyday, and not worried about if we have enough $$$ to pay our bills at the end of the month, maybe life will be much worthwhile and interesting.
Thank God the endind part of the show was a happy one, it tells everyone it's never too late to realize what we should focus on, and to love them. Workaholic should go and watch "Click" and live a life!
