The hero of 2005 standing next to the hero of 2007, perhaps?
Finally, we have arrive at the day of the UEFA Champions League final. Liverpool v AC Milan. The press has been talking non-stop about this tie and the Singapore Liverpool fan club has been busily selling tickets to fans who want to watch the game at Hard Rock Cafe. It's sad that there's always a winner and a loser. It saddens me when I imagine my team losing out to Milan. Miracle happens only once I believe. That was way back in 2005 when my team scored 3 times to level the match at 3-3. This time around, I hope we won't go 3 nil down again, because I don't believe miracle will happen again. I still remember back in 2005, I was at the Hollandse Club with 3 Liverpool fans and 1 Milan fan. When half time comes, I already accepted defeat as the score reads - AC Milan 3 Liverpool 0. But who can imagine what happened in the 2nd half. Well, exciting as it might be, I definitely don't want such spectacle again tonight! Whatever the result tonight, I hope I can enjoy the match and the company around me.
