National Day Celebration

Today's theme was "City of Possibilities". An Indian man, malay satay seller, a Samsui woman and a kid(whom i think looks like Harry Potter!) were the actors in the whole programme. Mr Aaron Tan played the indian man, Mr Rajoo, Mr Jackson Seow played the satay man and Ms Jess Chan played the role of the Samsui woman. The kid in the show brought these 3 persons of the past to present Singapore. First, they arrived at Little India and were presented with a Indian dance. Secondly place is Kampong Melayu, and the Malay dancers performed. Last but not least, Chinatown, and the Chinese dancers.

I thought the programme was well planned but sadly, the skit lacked humour and surprises. That's why i told Fendi the celebration was a bit dull. Before the show ended, the school sang "Will You", "There's no place I'll rather be", "Island of hope" and "Home". Mrs Caroline Luah co-ordinated the actions for the show and the pupils definitely enjoyed waving their hands and shaking their bodies throughout the singing session. So there you are, if you all have wanted to know what the celebration was all about!

I'll be flying off to Hong Kong for a day trip. So for the next 4 days, there'll be no update! Enjoy the parade tomorrow and trust me, it is really one heck of a parade! (Cos' I saw it during the NE show!)
