NE Show

Today I went to the NE Show with my P5 kids. It was a hazy day but when we reach Esplanade, it was a bit sunny but breezy. At times, rain threatened to spoil our day until towards the end of the show. I just text my wife that Thank God, the sky was holding it up. And the next time she replied my sms, the sky finally opened up and man, it was a downpour! The whole stadium became a waterfall! There was simply no drainage system! But thanks to the rain, we were able to leave asap, unlike 2 years ago, when I have to wait 1 hour before it was our turn to leave the stadium!

That's my class, queuing up to be seated.

I think I get to go NE Show once every 2 years. I should be feeling quite bored by now isn't it? I think this is already my 4th NE Show ever since I became a teacher. But every year, the chance to let my hair down, not lecture my pupils, to have a great outing with my pupils makes me excited about attending the show.

Below are some photos taken during the show, a glimpse into what to expect come 9 Aug!

That's me, photo taken by my pupil.

Can you see the rainbow? Yeah, weather was fine in the beginning.

Mark Lee and Suhaimi were the hosts and they were the Princes whom arrive from Palembang to Temasek.

The Palembang prince arrives on the Lion City.

The customary marching in.

This photo is special because I managed to capture the transition from Teo Chee Hean to the Officer.

This looks like the Hollywood Squares.

After this guy finished talking about how Singapore will survive the economic crisis, the heaven opened up! Bad omen lah...hehe....
