Swee Choon Tim Sum
I have always passed by this place whenever I finished my "past midnight shopping" at Mustafa Center but I always thought this is just another place selling poor quality dim sum... So Wrong am I!!!
I finally made the bold idea of bringing my friends there for supper. The place has both outdoor and indoor dining areas. We opted for the indoor as it is air-conditioned. MAN! It was freaking cold in there, but being a person who loves the cold, it was the "Shiokiest" thing to happen at those hours. We ordered nearly everything that are available there!
Char Siew Bao, Small Bao, Lor Mai Gai, Fan Choy, Har Gao, Siew Mai, Chicken Feet, Beancurd Skin wrapped with Prawn, Chee Cheong Fun, just to name a few! The Chrysanthemum Tea served was good! Very rich and just enough sweetness! I like the Char Siew Bao most! Can fight with Tiong Bahru's one, Hoe Kee's one, Clementi Ave 4's one! But overall, of course, you can't compare this place to restaurant styled dim sum house. But at night, this is the best alternative you can find if you crave for dim sum!
Ok, where is this place... It is opposite Jalan Besar Food Center, along Jalan Besar. You can see alot of taxis' parked outside this place. If you have no idea where this place is, let me bring you there and you give me a treat!!
